At the heart of the 2016 Dodge Grand Caravan is the award-winning 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6 engine mated to a smooth-shifting six-speed automatic transaxle. This engine was named one of "Ward's 10 Best Engines" three years in a row. In the Grand Caravan, the Pentastar V-6 delivers a best-in-class 283 horsepower, 260 lb.-ft. of torque and best-in-class 3,600 pounds towing.
